Obituary of Chad Frederick Heely

Chad was born on 12/20/1955 in Aurora, Co. the third of three sons to Betty and Donald Heely.  He passed on 1/11/2023 in Everett, WA following complications of sepsis and multiple spinal surgeries.

Chad was raised in Southern California and completed his nursing education there.  In 1980 he moved to Washington State and continued his nursing career in critical care, cardiac rehabilitation, operating room, mobile intensive care and case management.  Chad retired from nursing in 2016 after working for 40 years.  He felt it was a privilege to help others within and outside of his career.

He was an outdoorsman and loved roaming the forests or boating and fishing in rivers, lakes or the ocean.  He was skilled in woodworking and home improvement and was a consummate DYI man. He loved sports, collecting treasures, music of all genres and especially anything Prince.  Chad was also a tease and never let an opportunity for a pun pass by.

Chad loved his family above all else.  He is survived by his wife Susan, sons Jarod Heely, Benjamin Heely and Brandon Torres.  He also survived his brothers Stephen and Gary, grandson Izrael Heely and many nieces and nephews.  We love and miss him every day.
