I'll remember Linda for her warmth, hospitality and resilience. When their house burnt down she carried her family through, it seemed to me as a childhood friend of Molly's, without hardly wavering herself. She let me babysit Abby when I was a little older; her love for all three of her children shone through. Linda, you will be missed!

I always enjoyed reading Linda's columns in The Seattle Times. What a lovely obituary of a life well lived. My condolences to her family, including her spouse Mike Knapp, my graduate school advisor.
